Blog Update

This blog will be renamed Little Treasured Things Gaming because I wanted to keep my main blog for stuff like lifestyle and self-care! I will move all my posts about gaming from LTT over here. I'll also keep all my old posts from this blog, so don't worry. 😊

Feeling cute, might eat a rat later, idk~

Hiya! As you (one of my nonexistent viewers) might have noticed, my name went from Brightlight to Summer! Along with many of my other online accounts, I completely rebranded. My nickname from now on will be summer and my username will be something along the lines of "summer_paradise" or "summer.pxrxdise".

   Why, you may ask?

   ...

   Idk, aesthetic.

Just kidding. First of all, I have a newfound love for summer, as a previous Fall gal. Summer also doubles as an actual name and a cute username. Along with my first reason, summer (and summer_paradise) is actually a pretty aesthetic username. I guess I'd make a better online presence with a likeable username.

Anyway, I'm done rambling about my new username- do you like snakes? I really want a Mexican black kingsnake. They're pretty popular and would be a good starting pet.

I'm listening to the music player on my blog (it only works for PC if you're wondering) and I can barely handle listening to To Binge by Gorillaz. It's a good song, but it makes me depressed and kinda triggers me. Big oof.

OH! I also changed the theme of the blog. I found a picture of blue tiles on google images, turned it yellow, added some sunflowers and leaves, and boom! I think it's pretty summery. Can't wait for a quarantine-free summer! c:

Anyway, I'll post something tomorrow when I can think of something. For now, look up Snake Discovery on YouTube! I love her so much.

   Signing off,

P.S. Yes I have a new signature, I made it in Photoshop and Glitterboo (font is Bratsy Script), yes I have a new profile, I drew it in Photoshop. It's a bird of paradise flower!

What makes an INFJ?

If you are an MBTI nerd like me, you probably have already looked into or thought about how your family's personality has passed on to yours. I decided to make a post about it! c:

So, get ready, folks, because this is a whole study based on my mom's and dad's personalities and how they influenced mine.

Mom: INFP - Introverted, intuitive, feeling, perceiving

Dad: ISFJ - Introverted, sensing, feeling, judging

Me: INFJ - Introverted, intuitive, feeling, judging

I inherit my father's nature to judge. I have already been told I am judgemental in the past and I now take it as a compliment. Hehe, I sound self-centered.

Anyhoo, the judging trait is not only judgemental, but the trait is less spontaneous than the perceiving trait that my mom has. My mother has always told me to go with the flow and I finally understand why, as I am now an MBTI nerd. The judgemental trait is more organized and neat than the perceiving trait, not in a "clean room" way, but more like a "clean life" way.

I also inherited my mom's intuitive-ness. People with the intuitive trait often are a little more imaginative than the sensing trait and they rely on patterns and find the hidden meanings behind things, while people with the sensing trait rely on what is immediately brought to their attention. While I took the MBTI test, there was a question like "When watching a movie, you take extra effort to find the meaning behind the movie." (you have to answer from a strong agree to a strong disagree, it's on a scale) and I now realize that it has to do with the intuitive trait.

On a less serious note, I relate to INFP memes (an example shown below) about feeling sensitive when someone starts acting a little differently around you. You know when your friend doesn't say hi in the same tone that they do every day and you know something's wrong? Well, there's that. Sorry for being a burden on your sweet precious time because I talk way too much and umm, please take the test because I wanna have some MBTI nerd friends to geek out with!!

Also, if you look up MBTI memes/relatable posts or whatnot, most of them sound really egotistical and I apologize :c

Realistic Landscape Generator Website

Have you ever wanted to draw really beautiful landscapes but don't have the will to practice? This website, Nvidia GauGAN Beta, can turn drawings like this:

   Into drawings like this:

Wow, that's pretty amazing. This website is super fun to play around with. You can use these landscapes for inspiration for a drawing if you can't find a good specific image of what you want. You can also do roads, houses, and fences, but those are a bit glitchy and unappealing for now.

Here are some drawings I did in the past on the website:

The lighting on these is just beautiful. From what I've heard and remember, this AI uses thousands of images and splices them together to create what you've drawn. The row of pictures at the bottom (visible in the middle picture) changes the lighting of your image.

If you want to draw on this website, make sure you check this box:

Anyway, stay safe and wash your hands. Goodbye!

w... worm

   Greetings, humans and worms alike.

Recently, I have been intrigued by the worm on a string cult. However, I can't be an official member until I own a few worms on a string. I've put some worms on my Amazon shopping list, so hopefully, my request from the worm god will be fulfilled.

I don't own TikTok and will never own it, but I've seen my fair share compilations of worm on a string TikToks and I really want to customize my worms and give them pipe cleaner legs. There is so much possibility for
worm.

Possible worm name and outfit ideas:
  • a black worm with little black legs and red eyes, named Spider Worm
  • a green worm with a mermaid tail, named Wormaid
  • a red worm with little dragon wings, named Wyworm
  • a dog worm and a cat worm named Tinkles and Dinkles (the names aren't original)
  • a green worm just named Slug
  • a brown/orange worm named Danger Noodle (a snake 😀)
  • a rainbow worm that will watch over me named Mr. Wilson
  • a yellow worm named Larry because Larry is a yellow name and you know it

I'll be sure to update when I get the worms. I'll make every single worm on the list!

Stay safe and wash your hands,

Things I Love

Hello fellow human! I'm trying to stray from the generic titles for my posts because I know my memory will fail me and I'll end up using the same title in the future. I love lots of things, so today, at 11:26 PM, I will write about things I love (kinda the point of this blog, right?)

Also, to continue on with my post from yesterday, I probably won't create a side blog. Like I said, I've started having commitment issues with basically everything. I created this blog to kind of have a creative outlet. My hand cramps when writing too much so I guess typing about my neverending thoughts and feelings is the way to go!

First of all, I just love, love, love adventures. Not like, action movie adventures, but going on hikes and stuff. Once, I went out on a walk with my friend and was having the time of my life traveling between parks and climbing into the river.

   OH NO

I was just itching at my arm and the itch was a scab and I scratched at the scab and it's bleeding. Sorry for the interruption :(

Anyway yeah. Adventures. Outdoors. Nature. Normally, I can't drag myself to go outside and sit there (I'm a vampire, totally,) but when I'm forced to, the outdoors is a great and exciting place. So just force yourself to go outside, please. You won't regret it.

I also love brushing my teeth. Ever since I got a new toothbrush I just want to brush my teeth 24/7. Along with that, I like eating things that aren't sugary because sugary things combat the whole "clean teeth" thing.

I would tell everybody my main hobby is art and drawing. However, I don't really draw much anymore, because I just can't bring myself to. My problem is I'm just too lazy.

Music really inspires me. So uh, listen to music! That's what you get out of this post. It's midnight now and I'm tired sooo...

Stay safe, wash your hands, and listen to music!

Discontinued Blog Info

Hello peeps! If you happen to stumble across this blog through my main and active blog Little Treasured Things, then welcome! Enjoy the 180+ newly released (from being private) old posts.

This was my old blog, first named The Animal Jam Spring, but when I found out that name was taken, I named it The Animal Jam Garden, and then when I moved on from playing Animal Jam, I changed it to Gacha Games, which I kept until I quit altogether (which was not for long).

   Some backstory:

  • I was a semi-popular Animal Jam blogger who went by Princessbg (AKA Princess) back in 2016. Since the AJ blogging community was very small (and welcoming!), I was well-known, along with the other group of bloggers (whose blogs can be found here). I remember just the word Princess caught my attention like someone was referring to me because of my nickname online. :)
  • My AJ best friends were a girl called Rawr07 (nicknamed Rawrz) and a boy called Rattlespud2004 (nicknamed Rattles). They were literally so cool to hang out with and I would be extremely happy to contact them again if I weren't a little antisocial moth who felt like everyone was judging her.
  • Rawrz and another one of my friends who now goes by Ocean were co-authors on this blog and posted occasionally. You'll see their posts if you scroll down in the archives quite a bit.
  • In the very beginning, me, Rawrz, and Rattles had an Animal Jam police force where we caught scammers and hackers and fought injustice. It was actually a pretty serious business, lol.
  • Me, Rawrz, and Rattles would write books together. Although I won't release them publicly, they still bring me quite a bit of sentimental value. <3
And that's about it! Enjoy this plethora of old content (which may be cringy, but who cares anyway).

See you over on my main blog!

Don't Troll on Zoom + More

Hello, my peeps. My feathered friends. My brightest stars.

Today we will be discussing behavior that has already been covered (by way smarter people than me) but I want to express my opinions on this topic. I know I didn't post yesterday but I'm really bad at keeping a schedule so... we just won't address when that happens anymore!

This so-called behavior is sharing your Zoom class codes online and encouraging other people to join your class. Like, no? Don't do that? It's pretty obvious, lol... People have been posting really bad stuff on there and it just disrupts the teachers and students.

I mean, when it's "harmless", it's pretty funny, but really it's never harmless and it's just an annoyance to our teachers. Please let the adults have faith in this generation, okay?

Also, I might get a side blog for gaming or other stuff I might not want to clutter this blog up with. I'm also going put up my old blog and it's old posts (called Gacha Games) soon for y'all to check out.

This includes my old posts from my Animal Jam days! That will just be a doozie to look at.

Enjoy some top-notch Youtube comments that I have randomly saved on my computer!

We should all appreciate the first guy's username. Perfection. I wish I thought of that.

Anyways, stay safe and wash your hands!

Music is Weird

(Sorry for not posting yesterday. I'll post two or three times today to make up for it 😊)

   Music is WEIRD.

Music is the strangest thing to me, because, we, as humans, create these toys to make certain sounds and then play them back and mix them together to listen to later. I sound like some sort of alien analyzing earth, but, I'm right!

To me, music is one of the most important things on earth. It can be nostalgic and bring back memories, or it can just be happy and fun. Depending on the genre, it can provoke different moods and feelings.

You know those edits of popular songs that are like "[song name] but played from outside a school bathroom at prom", that's the song with an echo or muffle effect on it? We make those because they make us feel a certain, weird way, or nostalgia for something we've never had before.

The comment sections on those videos are really cool, too. People come up with stories related to the song, like answers to a writing prompt. "What do you think of when you hear the song Dancing Queen?" Stuff like that.

If anyone watches Solar Sands on Youtube, I got introduced to this really fascinating music artist named James Leyland Kirby by one of his videos. He made a project called "The Caretaker" which has albums that are strange, sort of melancholy, but not sad.

They start as sampled old songs from the 1930's or 40's, kind of distorted and scratchy like they're being played on a record. Sort of like ballroom music.

People post really sad stories in the comment section, so be warned if you're sensitive about that stuff. However, there are some funny comments too, just to brighten the mood!

The stages of the album Everywhere At The End Of Time become more distorted as they progress, simulating the effects of memory loss. The total amount of time it would take to listen to the whole thing would be like 6 hours. If you're generally in a good mood/around people/doing fun things on the internet, try to listen to a stage, which lasts around 40-50 minutes.

I would not advise listening to albums when you're lonely or sad, as they can seem depressing, but when you're feeling optimistic, they can be a real bop. Like some Lo-fi beats to chill to.

My favorite song from "The Caretaker" is All You Are Going To Want To Do Is Get Back There from the album An Empty Bliss Beyond This World. I was going to post multiple songs I liked, but don't you just love it when your computer flips out on you and loses all your progress from the past 10 minutes?

Anyway beans, stay safe and wash your hands!

How to Survive the Inevitable Apocalypse

With the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are certain that the apocalypse will come soon. However, it takes the most responsible and assertive leader to survive the apocalypse, and this guide will help you be that leader.

Step 1: Make people respect you.

If the apocalypse comes and nobody cares about you, you will surely not survive. However, when you have a team of minions at your feet, you already have the upper hand.

You will start by learning random facts about anything. When a topic comes up in a conversation and you spew out something all smart, people will begin to respect you.

Then, learn a bunch of smarty-pants words to impress your friends and everyone around you. Not only will you possibly acquire a mate, but you will become the alpha.

Don't flat out ignore your friends, but don't cling to them as much. They'll (hopefully) miss you and start to cling to you. This immediately turns the tables, as if they struggle in the apocalypse, they will turn to you for help, instead of you turning to them.

However, do not make your friends fear you. Express that you enjoy it when they come to you. If you seem bothered to be talking to another human, they'll think they're the problem and then you will lose a minion.

Step 2: Make a statement.

You may think, when I say "Make a statement", I'll follow it with something like "Not a fashion statement."

   Well, you would be wrong.

   Make a fashion statement.

Dress in bright, bold colors. Defeat societal norms because you are now the trend-setter. If someone ridicules you for your outfit choice, you will show NO INTEREST in what they are saying.

You will show everyone that you are fearless, confident, and have a GREAT fashion sense, because you will soon have everybody following in your tracks.

And for the people who do not agree with you, well, that leads me into my next step.

Step 3: Realize that those who are not with you are against you.

I have spent too long trying to make people like me. Kill them with kindness, I thought. They'll be nice to you back, I thought.

   WRONG.

If someone does not like you, you DO NOT like them. In fact, you will despise them. Now that you have your fleet of minions, they, in fact, will be in the wrong for not liking you. If nothing about you is generally hate-able and they choose to hold a grudge against you, that's on them.

They will die in the apocalypse because they are cowards who have little friends, whose only weapon is anime, as you have God on your side.

Step 4: Do not fear death. (In the apocalypse.)

When the apocalypse comes, it's likely that everything that comes after is lonely and sad. So, now is the chance to live fearlessly and take risks. Safe risks, but risks nonetheless.

Go outside. Go on a hike. Look into the forest with your friends and imagine someone's stalking you, just for the fun of it. Climb down little cliffs into tiny rivers and watch nature. This is what you live for.

Go on adventures and write stories of adventure, feel inspired to do the things you love to do most, and complete your bucket list. Live your life to the fullest.

In the apocalypse, you will defend your allies knowing that your life and your dreams have been fulfilled, and if you die, you will die a hero.

(Don't die now though, because you're really important. That brings me into my last step.)

Step 5: Your time is now.

You only live for so long. Now is the time to make the most of your life- while you're young, carefree, and have the world in your hands.

Don't spend your life thinking, Why must it be this way? or Why did it have to happen like this? Everything happens for a reason. If your friend hates you for seemingly "no reason", there is a reason. That reason is that they're an awful person. Life is gifting you with the opportunity to move on from them. So take it.

Don't try to fix the old things, replace them with new things. Find new hobbies, new things you love. There's always tomorrow.

---

I hope you enjoyed the silly nature of this post! It actually came with a good message, so just know:

Life is only a game if you play it, just in the way that life is only a movie if you have a script, and life is only a book if you write it. So go, write your life, and have fun while doing it!

With love,

Comparing 3 Animated Text Makers

On the quest to find the perfect gif to use as my signature at the end of my posts, I will be doing a comparison between multiple animated text generators. I will be grading these over user-friendliness, customizing options, and the final result.

Textanim
Our first contestant will be textanim.com. It's very simple looking and gets the point across.

As you can see, it has a few options and many different colors. Options include text input (obviously), font, font size, background color (optional), direction of the pattern movement, letter shadows (optional), movement delay (I don't know what that might be? Speed?) and pattern.

I chose this cute hacker/coding/computer pattern. I noticed that if you choose a plain black background, the background becomes the pattern and the text is black. If you do anything but plain black, the text becomes the pattern, which I thought was odd. I did both ways, with the second background being a very dark gray, and here was the result.

User-friendliness: 4/5
The website was nice and simple, but the background glitch was confusing.
Customizing options: 3/5
There were lots of patterns, but I feel like different gifs from this website wouldn't appear unique from one another.
Final Result: 5/5
Alone, the final result (or results) looks really cute.
Total score: 12/15

At the bottom of the website, you can see its partner is glowtxt.com, so we'll check that out next!

Glowtxt
Our next contestant is glowtxt.com. The website is eye-catching and fun!

Top portion

Here is the top portion of the website, where you customize most of your gif. To pick a preset (which is optional), scroll down and click one of the options. It will then appear above where it says "Your text here."

The presets

Customizing options include text inputs (max 3 allowed), text size, presets, option for a solid background or a transparent background, comment borders (puts a border around the image), glow intensity, animation options, text colors, font, and make comment (centers all lettering and makes it smaller). Overall, I think these options are pretty neat.

I chose the preset "neonlights", chose the 5th color option, and made it a medium size with a super glow intensity and a pulse animation. Here's the result!

User-friendliness: 5/5
Nothing about the website was particularly hard to understand.
Customizing options: 4/5
Each font comes with a different set of colors/patterns. So, if you like a particular pattern, it might not be available for every font.
Final Result: 4/5
I wasn't expecting there to be a little black border around the gif.
Total score: 13/15

When you scroll down, next to the presets you see other animated text makers by that developer. There's textcraft.net (a video game text maker) and pookatoo.com (a spoopy Halloween text maker), but we'll be checking out glitterboo.com!

Glitterboo
Glitterboo doesn't create glittery text, but it "glitterfies" photos. I'll be creating the text in photoshop and I'll use that as my input photo.

Once you start, this is what the website looks like. It's pretty! If you're not signed in, you're only allowed 2 different options: sparkles and stars. I'll do sparkles.

This is the interface. You can select the area you want to be glitterfied. There's a lot of customizing options, so I'm not going to go over them. It's also slightly confusing. Anyway, here's the final result!

I used light colors in my picture and no background, so it's cut off weirdly and it's hard to see the sparkles (that's my fault, so I won't deduct that). Besides the mistakes on my part, it looks pretty good!

User-friendliness: 3/5
The interface was confusing and had too much going on. You had to create an account to use lots of features.
Customizing options: 4/5
They were not lacking, however, I feel like there was too much to customize.
Final Result: 5/5
Besides my mistakes, this website does a good job on the final result.
Total score: 12/15

Overall, glowtxt.com wins! These are all the top 3 animated text makers I could find. I will now use a Glowtxt gif as my signature and blog banner!

Anyways, stay safe and wash your hands. Be sure to have a good day!
